We had had a fun week getting ready for the actual day of Halloween. This costume has been WORN. We are happy about that. My friend Jenn, and Abi’s friend Ella took over hosting the Halloween Bash from our friends Katherine and Austin who moved away to San Antonio (boo – quite poetic, huh?). SUCH FUN! Oh, the kiddos are just too cute.
Abi and Chloe working the bounce house:
Allison & sweet Macie
Little Luke was superman – even superheroes need a break some time:
Piñata! Abi was very unsure of this – which really surprised me! She didn’t want to pull a string or look through what was stuffed inside. Little one is still sometimes a mystery to us…
Getting all of the friends to sit on the couch – HAH – this was quite a feat!
We got it!
Before trick-or-treating (yes, little kids can do this too, we think!) we had a neighborhood block party! One of the many things we love about our little subdivision. Lots of fun! And lots of puppies, which made the event a definite success in abi’s mind!
Our sweet next-door-neighbor, Piper. She LOVES “baby abi.” LOVES. Did I mention she LOVES her? We had a built-in-babysitter at the party with piper!
The costume competition!
Twirling. Oh, little girls.
Abi, Piper, and Esther. We think Esther is just the sweetest, and we’ve known her since she was younger than Abi! Esther used to come to one of my classes at the Zoo with her momma!
The cutest little bee on the block – our good buddy Emmy!
Emmy gave donald and I a break on pushing abi home. Thanks, Em.
Tu-Tu for now!!

Too cute! It looks like everyone had a wonderful time. If I had been there, I definitely would have paid attention to the pinata! :-)
