Meet The Buddies

Haha, well this is what I call them.  Don’t know why.  But, this is who they are – they’re the Buddies.  I name Abi’s toys for my own sanity – not sure if this is completely ridiculous or not.  “They” are little Fisher Price people that my brother and I played with when we were little and Abi LOVES them.

Meet the family:

And their transportation:

Abi spends most of her time with the buddies pushing them around:

It’s not always the safest ride:

OK, now I’m reading the post – and it is a bit ridiculous – but here’s a little insight into our goofy little life.  Laugh with me.

Michigan Appreciation

We just had a fun 1 1/2 weeks with my side of the family coming down for some good quality Dallas time.  Abi enjoyed seeing her loving great-grandma, Mimi, and Grandpa Zo.  She was quite confused when she woke up this morning, and it was just me to greet her – not her normal entourage!  Oh well, Momma will have to do until the weekend when donald joins us again!

Thanks, Mom/Dad/Grandma for coming to Texas, enduring the rain, and making memories with us and sweet Abi.  We love you!

Jack

Love was in the air at the grocery store.  I just have to share this story.  I laugh every time I think about it.  Donald and I were shopping this past week, and we kept seeing this very cute boy glancing at Abi.  He was very sweet.  We bumped into him while we were checking out, and he asked his mom if he could come over and talk to Abi.  She agreed, as long as he did not touch (very kind of her – in light of the craziness of Swine Flu).  He played peek-a-boo with Abi – and Abi went CRAZY.  We’ve never seen her react like this to anyone.  She was smitten.  Pulling on the cart trying to stay close to him, laughing, squealing – such sweet joy.  We were all just laughing.  As we were walking out the doors (about 20 feet away from where we were) Jack ran to the sliding doors and yelled “I’ll never forget you!”  Made this momma and poppa smile.  (He later told her in the parking lot that she was “just beautiful.”  Oh, Jack was about 5 – ahhh, so great!)

She is pretty though…
